The items on this website have all been rescued from junk shops, flea markets and even my local recycling centre. What started out as a hobby, has become quite a project!  I am an amateur family historian, based in Brighton, UK.     I have an interest in family, military, social history, and most of all, people and their stories. 

 

Over the years I have collected items to research and had some success in reuniting them. This often involves a great deal of detective work (with an element of luck). I build a family tree and reach out to family historians and possible family members.

 

Through this website I will share some of my stories. My aim is to build a searchable catalogue of names with images.
