Can anyone find out the name of the Regimental dog? - 1915, perhaps it was the pet of Lt Col P Scott?

I presume this is a working-hazard for most cat-owning genealogists?…cats, paper and boxes ..the perfect storm

The Regimental officers marched though Sheffield with their pet Noble , Recruiting in the early months of WW1. Sheffield Daily Telegraph. Does anyone know any stories of what happend to Noble?
